It took awhile to come up with a team name, because a lot of Grass/Fire themed names are typically going to relate to fire burning plants, like wildfire, kindling, etc. Wildfire was thematic enough that I took it for the comic’s title. Team Sequoia or Redwood were also considered, which are fire resilient trees and have a somewhat symbiotic relation with fire to put it simply (they’re cool). Jalapeno and pepper were also considered (spicy veggies), and that train of thought led to the chosen alliterative team name–Team Tamato!
