Booling (Bud/Florish/Harvest/Dormant) [Grass/Normal] -> Sawgeist (Bud/Florish/Harvest/Dormant) [Grass/Ghost]

Booling and Sawgeist are heavily studied Pokemon for their form changes and edible leaves.

From the outside one might assume they change with the seasons, but those who study this family find that it more relates to climate and diet. Generally speaking, regions with strong seasonal changes will see Booling and Sawgeist shift as the seasons progress, Bud appearing in Spring, Florish in Summer, Harvest in Autumn, and Dormant in Winter. Warmer regions with stable seasons will see mostly Bud, Florish, and Harvest. Colder regions with stable seasons will mostly see Dormant, Bud, and Florish.

The leaves Sawgeist’s flexible antlers produce are delicious, edible, and harmless to the Pokemon to remove, though the Dormant form does not produce any leaves. The flavor of the leaves is heavily dependent on the Sawgeist’s diet, though normally the Bud’s leaves are bitter, the Florish’s leaves are savory, and the Harvest’s leaves are sweet.
