(we’re skipping numbers, because Rapunzel is asking more questions than I need to make you all sit through, lol)

#3: Portal dungeons are what was in Chapter 1, it’s (usually) a very defined entryway/exit. Additionally, if a portal is on a surface (like a wall or the ground) and you dug a few feet away, you wouldn’t necessarily create a new portal into the dungeon, unlike an Area dungeon.
Area dungeons “exist” in a set range in the real world. Entering that space will seamlessly take you into the dungeon. Additionally, an area dungeon’s size can differ between inside and out. So the dungeon’s area may be a mile wide in the real world, but upon stepping in, it could suddenly become 5 miles wide. These ones are easier to “just walk into” as often the less defined barrier means weather or other matter (plants, terrain) has seeped between the two worlds, making it harder to see the edges.

#7: Feral Pokemon, as mentioned in Chapter 1, are the aggressive, mindless Pokemon inhabiting dungeons (like in-game, minus the “oh we’re suddenly cool and want to join your team” part). Staying in a dungeon too long can turn you feral, with this rate depending on the dungeon and the individual. For example, dungeons can be more susceptible to certain types, so a “Water dungeon” is more likely and quickly to turn a Water Pokemon. Feral Pokemon also rarely fight one another.
