PBFP Hiatus
TL;DR: PBFP is going on hiatus, may return in late January 2023 or so. Thanks for understanding!
Longer: Basically, I’ve run through my backlog for PBFP and have been demotivated for the project recently. My current mentality of “just keep pushing forward” has started to head in the direction of burnout. So I’m taking a break from PBFP to rest, spend more time on other projects/art (which I feel like I’ve been lacking in recently, which also doesn’t help my feelings about PBFP), and reevaluate PBFP.
…so “reevaluate PBFP” could turn out to be nothing. But, as I bring up occasionally, there are mistakes I made early on in PBFP which, due to the nature of the project, I can’t undo without restarting the whole thing or undoing years of work. So I’ve mostly ignored it and “just kept pushing forward”…but my current demotivation is causing me to reconsider carrying on with the project in its current form.
So may be nothing, I may just need a bit of a break and will be right as rain, but there’s a non-zero chance PBFP may be altered, restarted, or replaced with a similar project. IDK, I also need sleep right this second (my cat is literally poking me to go to sleep), so we’ll see!
