Clothes and Parents
Just some sketches. Sadly (editing this in the future) most of the concepts are now cut…oops!
(now deprecated) Some Rishihi concepts. I absolutely cracked up drawing the second clothed one, I won’t lie! I’ve only given them more “traditional” style garb before now, so it just looks very different.
(technically deprecated,but if Tali appears as a one off character, her parents might too) Tali’s adoptive parents! No names yet, and undecided who’s surname is Averill (both kept their original surnames, and both of their original cultures say that parent’s surname is given to the child). Anyway, they’re very sweet people care for Tali like she was their own daughter (which is biologically impossible for them). Thankfully Tali isn’t a demanding child, because they absolutely would do anything she asked. A funny quirk though, is that they haven’t told Tali she’s adopted. They’re afraid how she’ll react…though Tali quite obviously knows she’s adopted, just never discussed it. They really do think she doesn’t know…!
Looking back at Xahsan and Crystal’s little blurbs…I never mentioned they’re family, huh. Crystal is Xahsan’s adopted daughter (not legally, he found her and decided to keep her). Also, somewhere along the lines, child leashes went from being the dumbest idea to “why did no one think of this sooner?”. I saw a family the other day using one, and considering cars where whizzing past a foot off the sidewalk…yeah, good idea! Crystal especially needs one, though the duo gets quite a number of stares considering wingless griffin are commonly not intelligent enough (or are held back from) being accepted in society.
