Foalby [Normal] (Horsea)
Foalby are anxious Pokemon who “hold hands” using their prehensile tail to calm themselves. If startled, they often spit at the enemy before fleeing.
Savhorn [Normal] (Seadra)
Savhorn use their tail like a whip to hit opponents and protect Foalby. Their barbed hair can cause numbness if it gets embedded in the target.
Kirhorn [Normal/Electric] (Kingdra)
These rare Pokemon that are said to sleep beneath storms. Their fur has hardened into protective, scale-like plates that conduct electricity across this Pokemon’s body.
Design notes:
Got another type swap prompt from my generator! Given the Normal type, it seemed obvious to turn seahorses into non-sea horses, but I also added inspiration from kirins. That worked out well enough with Seadra’s normal evolution method (Trade w/ Dragon Scale) that I left that in for flavor. It can join the “not actually a Dragon-type” club with Charizard and Gyarados lol
