About
The Pokemon Type Swap Generatorgenerates Pokemon with randomized types and was primarily intended as a tool to assist artists in type swap drawing challenges (drawing Pokemon with randomized types), but can be used for other inspirational purposes.
You can get started by choosing a Pokemon under the "Select Pokemon" option or selecting "Generate All" to see all the Pokemon! Explanations of the optons:
- Form: A single form of a Pokemon. E.g. Mega Venusaur.
- Species: All forms of a single species of Pokemon. E.g. Venusaur would include all forms (base, Mega, and Gigantamax).
- Family: All species and forms related by evolution. E.g. Bulbasaur family would include Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, and Venusaur (all forms).
- Generate All: All Pokemon species and their forms.
- Reroll:Rerolls the types of the current selection.
Click "Settings" above to adjust the generator's output. Please see that page for more information.
Additional options are available under the Prompt, such as:
- Sort order:
- Dex #, Families Grouped: Pokemon are sorted by their National PokeDex number, but are grouped with their evolutionary families. E.g. Pichu (#172) will be listed before Pikachu and Raichu (#25 and #26) as it is their pre-evolution.
- Dex #: Pokemon are sorted by their National PokeDex number.
- Alphabetical, Form: Pokemon are sorted by their form name.
- Alphabetical, Species: Pokemon are sorted by their species name, then by their form name if multiple forms.
- Asc/Desc: Whether Pokemon are sorted in ascending/descending order.
- Display (List/Box): Whether Pokemon are displayed in a list or as boxes.
- Export: Export the displayed list to a CSV file.
